There was a story on local news down here, they talked to Birchall who will be at training soon :) and also talked to AC about the possability of picking up another young Tasmanian in Todd Grima (193 cms 88 kgs Key Forward) as a Rookie. Clarko sounded pretty convinced he would go somewhere. I was suprised he didn't go in the draft and may soon be a Hawks rookie. Thoughts??

Played over at Tassie this year, and played against Todd. Gun young player, I couldn't believe it when they said after the game that he's only a kid. kicked 7 or 8 against a pretty good player. Athletic, huge leap, good set of hands, can kick both feet, but more importantly, he's tough! Probably the only thing stopping him playing league footy is his height, and the fact that he's not very versatile. Definitely worth a punt as a rookie. Would go well at VFL level.

I know whats lacking, carl ditterich, they should have drafted him back. they could get him in the pre season draft cos I heard he's been training for a while now.
Give him a couple of weeks and he would be back to his peak performance.

hands off grima!!!
i want him at carlton!!!

Yes, you think he would be a no-brainer but because when it comes to recruiting I really think Carlton don't have one (a brain, that is) so we will probably pick two slowish mids with average skills.

Was confused when Birch went as a first rounder in the draft and then Grima didn't get picked up at all. Grima had always been the better of the two performance wise in the NTFL, and everyone around ulverstone thought he was the better player. I remember him ripping us up a few times in U/18's and U/19's, something that Brichall did do, but not to the same level as Grima.
