A left-footer who can play in the midfield, up forward and is smart around the goals, Logan is a versatile performer who can play in a range of positions. He can take a terrific grab for his size, while he is a great user of the ball.

Logan has made the All-Australian side, performed at draft camp and his name has barely been mentioned. What is everyones predictions about where he might go. I'd be more than happy to use a second rounder on him.

yeah was happy with his championships both this & last year.. thought he was good.... its kinda the same as anthony corrie.... got the Harrison? Medal for best player in 2nd division last year & he was an absolute steal for the lions @ #49.... hasnt had too many chances this year due to inkjury which kept him out for the middle part of the season.... cant wait to see him fire.. will be much the same with logan i rekcon....

The best game I saw Tom Logan play this year wasn't even at the National Championships. It was against Gippsland earlier in the year and he was simply dominant, took about a dozen marks including a couple of screamers.

I'm glad to see people know he exist! Hasn't been mentioned at all, but he has a lot going for him. Great mark, very courageous, hard at it and versatile.

Late 2nd to 3rd round I would think. Love him at Hawthorn.

A little different. The problem with Corrie is finding a position for him in the AFL. That is why he dropped down the draft order. He is not big enough to be a key position, and not quick enough to be a winger or flanker.

You don't reckon he is quick enough to play HBF? He looked pretty quick to me last year. I certainly thought he would go earlier than 49.

I remember him as a guy who covered a lot of ground, not really one of great pace. I suppose he is more of a 400m runner than a sprinter where his acceleration wasn't great but he kept going at a 3/4 pace. His whole game last year was based on his ability to get from end to end.

There is a tendancy to mark-down the Div 2 players though. One year someone is going to get burnt. More and more kids are playing in QLD and NSW and one year someone is going to pick up 3-4 guys in the top 30 while others snobbishly overlook them. In some sense we are beginning to see it with some of the rookie-list kids going to Brisbane and Sydney.

Brent Staker at WCE appears a good example, the kid will be a player.
