Carlton fans continuous need to tell us that TDK:

• is shit
• Is being overpaid
• all these rucks that smashed him
• why do you need Marshall AND TDK?
• Your cap will be screwed for years etc

Over and over again, can only seemingly point to how much you actually rate TDK as it absolutely reeks of anger that you are losing him to us - otherwise, why bother and not celebrate losing an overpaid list clogger?

I know from past experience, let’s use losing Josh Battle to Hawthorn as a free agent. The argument was never to go to Battle threads in our droves and all just tell Hawthorn fans the above.

We tore each other apart on our own board about the clubs decision to seemingly value the compo higher. But unanimously agreed Battle was a good defender - who wasn’t worth pick 8 in a super draft. But for Hawthorns needs he would be perfect.

In fairness, we are really, really good at tearing each other apart.

Paying that amount for a player you hope will fulfil his potential at age 27 is not just risky, it's derelict.
Good luck to him, and I hope it works out for the saints' sake. However, I have serious doubts.

Was brilliant to start the year off. Get his confidence back and he can be as good for longer IMO.

There is a wide spectrum of opinions on every club board. The Carlton board is no different.

Reckon it’d be pretty easy to go to the St Kilda board and find some crazy opinions too.

In fact I’m not sure there’s a player in the history of the game since BF has been a website, who has been immune from being talked down.

Reality is footy is an emotional game and things are said in the heat of the moment by fans of every club. No sane person would think he’s a shit footballer, because he pretty clearly isn’t.

There’s a huge gap between being A grade and being shit.

I’d suggest the majority do. But I don’t speak on behalf of all Carlton fans, and as I said, every fan base has some who hold wild opinions.
