In reference to the OP, with a name like his, its no wonder his poor performance has attracted a mob out for blood.

I said this to the guy I was sitting next to. Had to feel sorry for the poor bastard. How many kids play on one of the best 3 defenders in the last 25 years? Money for jam for Fletch.Looks like a strong Ranga.
Playing on the most experienced defender in the league in your first game is a big ask.
Well done Lynchy. I didn't mind the bump on Hurley somewhere in there.

If we can, yes. However, often switches to the danger man if someone starts to light it up, which then detracts from the rebound & upsets our backline.Doesn't Fletcher normally play on the third best forward?
Fully agree with both the back line positioning and giving him a further chance to prove himself.Hard to make a judgment on Lynch from just one game. I think that nerves probably did play a major part in his poor performance.
Maybe we might see him in the back line this week. I'd like to see him get another go, if he doesn't play again until next year it would pretty demoralising for him. I don't think it's very fair on a player just giving him one game. I know it has to happen from time to time.
