Huge score? We played an undermanned, lifeless Carlton brother, 115 is very good, but 'huge' is not an adjective I would use.

Had a good return.

Few errant handballs to begin with but was superb, threw himself into contests and was clean and very good by hand to feed players consistently. Was one particular play where he had no right to get the ball on HF, with a big scooping handball to a runner on the inside who kicks inside 50 for a goal.

Has always been this way, obviously good to see him back from injury and fit. Won’t ever be the same as pre broken leg but he’s still a very good player in his own right.

His role is priceless, means others can put themselves in better positions on the outside to hit kicks going forward, like Nick, Pendles and Lipinski especially.

Tom is just so clean, he’s creative with it by hand and finds it with ease, always in the right positions whether a contest or around the ground. You also know you’re always going to get 100% effort.

Had 26 disposals on return at 85%, 11 of those contested.

9 score inv, 5 marks, 4 clearances and 3 tackles.

Only things I can point out are due to his physical limitations, which is that he can sometimes get exposed if he’s playing on a quicker opponent. The other being that he often loses his feet around the contest, this doesn’t usually effect him as he gets the footy most times and feeds it out, however he does lose his feet so if he doesn’t win it he can get badly exposed.

It is the difference between just being able to feed it out, and being able to take the game on and not only feed players which he’s good at, but also being able to create damage and have multiple opportunities on the same ball, not just the one.

Will continue to build no doubt, wish him the best.

People have been calling for his retirement. I said I think Titch has two more years in him beyond 2025. I’m sticking with that.

Welcome back wombat. Man I've missed this bloke scrapping away at the bottom of packs and dishing out a clean handpass from his knees.

He was BOG in the Grand Final and BOG in our return to form in 2024 in that brilliant win against the Lions at the Gabba in round 4 that year.

Didn't look to me like he and Neddy cancelled each other out in the midfield like a lot of folks seemed to think they would.

100%. Like I said in the pre game thread, he will feed the ball out to the mids like Daicos & Pendles.
Super impressive game seeing he hasn’t played senior football in well over a year. He will build on this.
It was great to see him back out there again.
