Love the way team supporters are shitting themselves that Carlton are coming for their players. It's justified - we are.

Its good to have the swagger back Tiger.......it really pisses people off that we are back and fcuk the rest.

I don't think he would go, but he must be getting sick and tired of watching his team do well while playing in the VFL.

Yeah...we should turn the screws to put some salary cap pressure...should make poaching some of their other players easier

No way either of those guys is worth pick 6-7.

BB, I think he meant both Prismall and Lonergan for pick 6 or 7.

and I think BB meant that 2 Hondas do not equal a Rolls Royce, and for us to head in the Geelong direction we need to be the ones trading away the Hondas for the Rollers, or at least only paying peppercorn late draft picks for Hondas.

Sorry for slow response...been away.

It will depend on the draft, but pick 6 is not necessarily a Monty to get a star...Russel was pick 7 and wouldn't be better than those two players combined. Whereas trading for Lonergan (a strong tall) and Primsmall for more midfield depth, would make us very competitive for next years finals. It would allow us to field a very competitive team.

Anyway, not that committed to the idea. But with the amount of young talent we have and the fact we need for decent tall forward now...rather than in 3-4 years when some of our stars will be getting on...I wouldn't be against trading pick 6. Other guys I would be interested in are Thorp or Dowler from the Hawks. All depends on the depth of the draft and whether we are willing to wait 3-4 years for a pick 6 CHF or ruckman to develop, which they may not anyway.
