Totally agree, Tony Jones is a massive peanut who ties unsuccessfully to be funny. He just interviewed Garry Ablett's missus and made the poor girl look silly. Very unprofessional Tony Jones!

It's hard to say what's better. Tony Jones or Mark Robinson. I don't know which show to watch.

The spoon gag. At least Sam Newman will put him in is place hopefully.
If you can take the pain try listening to him on Sport927 and see how long you last.
Footy season's over. Sport is completely pointless until the preseason comp starts next year.![]()
I dont mind him.
Apparently he supports Collingwood.![]()
TJ called Jason Krejza Justin Krejza last night! lol
Am I the only one who thinks he's lost weight, maybe he's been on the Lawrie Oakes diet!
He is the typical Collingwood supporter... never played the game, doesn't understand it. A football idiot.I don't mind him. He supports Collingwood. See, these two concepts just don't fit. They're like two identical poles of a magnet facing each-other - repellant by all the laws of man and nature.
Oh well, guess we'll have to put up with Grant Hackett. There are strong rumours that he might be getting the boot from Channel 9 by the end of the year![]()

Channel Nine drops Tony Jones from Sunday Footy Show

CHANNEL 9 turbulence has escalated with the axing of Tony Jones as host of The Sunday Footy Show, dropping the sports reporter in favour of James Brayshaw.
It is understood Jones, who has hosted the show since 2006, was told of the decision late last week after a heated meeting with Nine executives.
James Brayshaw, co-host of the Thursday night Footy Show, will take the reins on Sunday mornings.
Jones will remain a sports reporter with Nine News.
Network insiders told the Herald Sun Jones was not happy losing the Sunday role.
But Jones said yesterday he was "very comfortable" with the decision and looked forward to spending Sundays watching his son play footy.
"I've spoken to James Brayshaw and told him he'll have a ball doing it, just like I did," Jones said.
"The worst thing is my workload has been cut back from six days to five."
The move comes after Eddie McGuire's plans for a new bingo show were shelved by network bosses.
