There were a couple playing for us today.

Let down by a few I feel. The ones that should show the way - Bowden J and K. Johnson.

Johnson kicks the wrong way in the 1st 5 seconds and gives away a soft free in the square in teh final quarter. A Captain should never do things like that - but he isn't a real Captain. Soft.

Bowden j - racks up plenty of possesions but when put under pressure folds like a deck of cards.

Moore pulled out of a contest in the 1st quarter - should be made to watch that over and over. Didn't show enough courage - gutless.

Pettifer - not up to it. Any player that plays for frees is showing us that he isn't good enough. Disgraceful.

Polo gave up a few easy goals, not up to his standards. Hyde is an absolute shocker with the handball - turned it over numerous times - belongs at Coburg. Maybe he's been watching gas.

Pattison can't cope in the ruck. If Cloke is beating him then he's not ready.

The positives.... Tivendale - tried hard, ran hard. Howatt - pretty good. McGuane played pretty well. Polak went alright.

But when the going gut tough - out came the blouses.

i've been telling people patto is crap for two years no and nobody still believes me,he's a nothing player and should be delisted along with half a dozen others who are not up to it.

When you look and see what that McIntosh did for the Roos yesterday...I know which one I would want in my side. Don't have alot of confidence in Patto making it myself.

Finally somebody who agrees with me.

i think it's harsh to generalise and say joel folds under pressure, he's usually the calm and collected general who sets up our rebounds while under the pump. just had a bad game.

Definately...just had one of those days...cost me badly for my dreamteam too.. being the captain...he will definately be seeing alot of the ball next week though..lets hope the general gets back to his usual self!!

Harsh? Perhaps. If it was a young player kicking out and making mistakes I'd understand it. Joel is a senior player and if he looks shaky how does it impact on the younger boys?
If he struggling then he has to make the call himself and hand it over to another player. We looked destined to turn the ball over the majority of the time.

J.Bowden, for a bloke who can kick it 60 mts,why the bloody hell does he chip kick it 20 mts every time ?

A contest. AKA 1 and one.

So one bad decision makes a game a shocker?

He actually played alright. That particular incident was poor. I'm sure if he had it again he's go harder. The Camera angle looked as though he pulled out. I'm sure someone in the stands would be able to tell how close he was to it.
I guess I'm just use to seeing Kellaway throw himself at the ball.

definitely didnt go at it hard enough looking from the stands. he also left his man and went 3rd or 4th man up , and the ball spilt to his man fisher i think for the easiest of goals. Persevere with him and McGuane down there.

Pettifer was good today, i cant believe some of u blokes...

McGuane was ok but got towelled up by waite when he moved forward. Id stick with him though.

bloody gaspar, did a number on lance no questions but geez he really messes things up. didnt run far enough in the final quarter along the members wing had to stop and prop and got run down, if he ran a further 15 into space he wouldve had the time to pump it into 50.

Best game iv seen tivers play. Foley was great not only for his work but he was THE ONLY player in black and yellow that tried to break the game up in that final quarter when we were hemmed in our defensive 50, went for several hard gallops and took a risk, great work.

Krak, see you later, seriously this guy is just too slow, not fit enough, hes not up to it and is a passenger, dump him.

Polo was quite good not sure what game u blokes were watching, just got sloppy on a few occassions but he covered murphy for most of the game

The game looks different on TV - especially when the commentators point things out that stay in your mind. Pettifer taking 2 dives for a free was highlighted by Healy.
Krak didn't look that bad to me - he broke a few packs. Don't know who he was playing on.
Polo made a couple of turnovers that resulted in goals a few plays later.
Tiv was good and thought Foley was our best.

so what if he dived? he kicked 4 goals, geez mate ease up. He also presented well and is a focal point. he is a good player.

You can see kraks weakness as a player ie lack of pace and lack of fitness at the game. At one stage was leading for the ball on the wing and just didnt have the toe to get there, inevitably that resulted as a turnover, his direct man also ran off him and punished us a few times in the first half. He is a liability i dont care how many tackles he lays, no good and has had long enough.

Yeah Polo's turnover when he got caught with the ball was just lazy, not good enough but his work for the whole day was very good, he cut out murphy

The moore incident in the 1st quarter wasnt a lack of courage, it was indecision. He wasnt sure whether to try and make the contest and spoil or just hold walker up on the mark. Got caught between the two and walker strolled into a goal.

The last quarter one was unfortunate. He spoils the ball forward and he has probably done the right thing. It was bad luck that it got thru and fisher was cherry pickin at the back. At least he made a commited decision.

Completely agree. He was shown up for pace a couple of times. He also gets pushed of the line of the ball to easy. Does lay tackles and did do some clever stuff but the game is getting to fast and strong for him.
