I am bored out of my mind at home, so i thought id do a preseason top 50. This is based on how i think these players will perform this year. Here we go.....
50: Ryan O'keefe, Sydney.
A barometer for sydney and a versatile option for Roos. O'keefe has a massive engine and if the swans are to do anything in season '10 he will have to be in All Australian form.
49: Bryce Gibbs, Carlton.
Smooth operator out of the middle for Carlton. With the bigger bodies around him is a class act and one of the best by foot in the comp. Needs a bit more muscle.
48: Darren Jolly, Collingwood.
Could be the main difference between Collingwood making up the numbers or going all the way. In the top 5 ruckmen in the comp.
47: Nick Natanui, West Coast.
The guy is an excitment machine judging by his preseason efforts. Hopefully we see him work in tandem with the best ruckman in the game (Cox). WC fans would be salivating at this prospect.
46: Daniel Rich, Brisbane.
Could be a top 20 player by seasons end. Great skills, decision making and tough.
45: Andrew Swallow, North Melb.
Is on the verge of becming elite and i think will become Norths best midfeilder. With Zeibell at his side will form a great future mid.
44: Sam Fisher, St Kilda.
The leader of the saints backline. Was a standout the last couple of years and can play tall or small.
43: Mark Lecras, West Coast.
Another moving up the list very quickly. Has good hands, is quick on the lead and is a great shot on goal. Could play a bit more midfield this year for the eagles.
42: Daniel Kerr, West Coast.
Has been out of form and held back by injuries lately. Needs to get back to his form of 3 years ago. Talented and hard working in the midfield.
41: Patrick Dangerfield, Adelaide.
I was tossing up wheather to put this guy or Zeibell in. Dangerfield won out as i beleive this is his year to step up. Adelaide have a few good young mids and this guy could be the best. Tough and skillful.
