Obviously our defence is the best in the league, conceding 65 points a game. But depending on the results of the last two games this round, we might finish round 13 with the best-ranked attack as well.

After the showing against Geelong, we've scored 1445 points (average 111.2 per game). Collingwood was easily the league leader prior to this round, but they've stumbled badly against Richmond, and need to score 51 points to match us. They don't look like doing so.

Likewise, the Bulldogs would need to kick 91 points against the Eagles.

When's the last time a team had the best-performed attack and defence so far into the season?

There we go...most productive attack, stingiest defence, outright 1st on the ladder and percentage of 171 effectively giving us another game.

Bulldogs ended with 73 points...and their win means finally we have a break on the eagles on the top spot, 8 points break on Pies as well

I we beat Sydney next week, top-2 looks near guaranteed.

yes, and we don't play attractive football either remember.

I think our defense and midfield are as good as 2005. However, our forward line looks alot better than last year with the additions of match winners in Burton and Roo. Not forgetting an aggressive quality crumber in Bode and a young tall who is finally starting to show us glimpses of his genius.

The skills/football brain/instinct that Trent H has can't be taught. Very rare, a big guy, who shows glimpses of the magic that only Aboriginal footballers are graced with. Apparently in the Nth Territory, and only in the Nth Territory, "tall white men can jump".

Isn't that amazing - 3 minutes of a quarter in the first game of the year and that stigma was given to us.

Gee whiz, lot of people looking stupid now, me thinks.

Only that old grey headed dumble dorf who coaches Collingwood
