I know its not for the here and now but, do we consider using our 1st this year to draft Dan Curtin's brother? he looks to be building as both a key back and key forward, is 200cms and might help long term holding onto Dan. I know it will take some time for him to get up to speed, but that is the sort of profile that you could build a key post defence around longer term.

If the eagles are rebuilding, as well as looking to draft the younger Curtin, could you try to get McGovern out for his last year or 2 as a key defender whilst the younger Curtin developed, WCE might be looking at trading a few old guys out for picks to speed up their rebuild?

If we aren't using our first rounder getting either NWM or the Pooster, it would be a very good idea to bring him in.

I heard he wrestled a circus bear and made the bear tap out

To me, Murray is our most important defender. He’s a rock against the bigs, while adding mobility around the ground. He’s also not shy to jump into packs so he could be handy to switch if our big forwards aren’t clicking on a given day. He’s the one defender we can’t easily replace and it appears to show since his injury after round 2.

The defence is just too young.
Haven't gotten enough games onto Worrell.
Our KPD - Keane and Murray are both still sub 60 games which isn't going to cut it as a top 4 side.

Yep. I think people forget that Worrell has only played 35 odd games and similar for Keane.

We invested games that should have gone to Worrell on players like Jake Kelly instead
