Top of the table baby! Of course, most of that is probably from lovable little Josh.

And I can only see us getting worse (better?) with Harves as coach. Now we just need to put our bodies where our mouths are. (No you depraved Richmond fans, I don't mean like that.)

Yaaaaaaaayyyyy

We won something :)

I'm sure Josh would be the delightful on field conversationalist... and he most likely learnt a bit from over at Port...

Other teams would probably spread their votes while I am pretty sure all Wet toast players would have nominated our guys(love your work Josh!)

I think you guys glossed over the most important part of the article:

Freo fight among themselves. Carr is a little pest. It's all that same sort of niggle talk. 'You are a weak p----.' 'We have heard you are weak'. They will use people you both know."

I noticed that but I'm choosing to believe that was some sort of typo. It's a bit strange the way they threw that in without expanding on it at all.

Not exactly the most wonderful thing to be on the top of.

Brisbane topped these surveys every year during their threepeat. Used properly sledging can be a pretty useful weapon.

I tend to think that when our boys are sledging it shows they're switched on too. When I see Carr, Grover, Crowls etc niggling their opponents and getting in their ear I'm usually reassured that we've turned up to play. It's the games when we seem to be going through the motions with no intensity that worry me.

The last derby was the perfect example of combining sledging with hard play. I don't care what anybody says, our boys rattled a few of the eagles that day. The key is to consistently put our bodies on the line like that to back up our big mouths.

:thumbsu: bingo

but too often this season we didn't do it. We spledge the players but were then second to the ball all the time.

Hopefully next year we can do it a bit better

When do we get to see stats on which team has the most whiny bitches?

Interestingly, I just changed jobs but worked with an AFL umpire previously and was chatting to him a little while ago about who the most fickle supporters were, much to my surprise he said Freo fans.

Well said !!

What did he say about your mob ?

In what way are we fickle according to your umpire friend ?

Brown and Voss were two of the dominant sledgers during that period. I have heard Brown around stoppages- "What is this,a f**king netball match?" :p Good ol' Browny.
