Just hope people realize he’s going to have days where he doesn’t cash in on the scoreboard and don’t turn on him, recognizing everything else he brings.

The only disappointing factor is how RFC only offered him a 1 year deal (I was shocked), he is honest and hardworking and really deserved a longer contract extension than the 1 year.

Loved the way he played on Liam jones.
Was trying to think of another forward like him...can't think of anyone, hawthorn and Gold Coast played Campbell Brown forward and he'd go the niggle but Towno plays in the rules and just unnerves em cause they know if he gets a run up before the tackle...it's gonna hurt.

If he kicks 40+ goals this year then he could be up for a pretty big payday from next season onwards.
Last season was such a small sample size, the 1 year put it on him to show it wasn't a fluke and then he can reap the rewards.

Good point, personally I would have liked the club to show more support and faith in Towna. I have no doubt that he will prove himself and earn a good contract going forward.
