We really do, because we are desperate for the Daicos points and can’t really afford to trade away 2020 picks to land these players. Plus it seems there are no bidders for Sier and Cox. So if we want to pick up a decent player we need to play a bit dirty and get one of them to walk through the PSD.

It’s up to Geelong and the Dogs to decide if they want to trade with Collingwood or lose their player for nothing. They’ll have to undercut each other (or show an interest in a player we are happy to lose) .

Left because he was a twit apparently. Cam Rayner was a strange number one choice. Not actually that talented to be honest. 2017 was a crap draft and we even thought about nabbing a cricketer with our first before we realised that we wouldn't need to be that bold.

Think it's fair to say Geelong are going to want something. Doggies are going to be a bit more savage, fit a little more. Wouldn't be surprised if Kreuger moved tomorrow, actually.

Your dreaming. As stated in the post, you actually need a suitor who is willing to pay that. If we're laughing at the Dogs asking for a second with Lipinski, then Cox who's turning 31 and is worth a fourth, low third to another club, and Sier who will be delisted anyway, the most you could expect is an early 3rd at best. No one is going to trade for Sier.

I think you're getting a bit carried away as well with the possibility of a low third for Cox. If we do trade him, I'm betting it's either a zero points trade or somehting like pick 53 and Cox for pick 50.

For us, the best type of deal we could do would probably be Cox and a future third for a current third - even if it's a club and thus a pick number that is likely to result in us trading a lower pick number in 2022 and Cox for a higher pick number in 2021.

If you expect it to be done on the last day, you can only be surprised and happy if it happens sooner.

Don't forget, the AFL needs some trades to go down to the last hour or everyone will know nothing is going to happen and no one will tune in. And if no one tunes in it'll be a hard sell for Hutchy to sell ad space next year!

And the AFL itself loves taking the back page of the Herald Sun off the Spring Carnival.

Yeh weird year, when you look at the 20s that's about as good as a 2nd round as you will get, but 1st round was average.

Pretty sure in the last the club has just gone with a photo shop job if they haven't been around. I wouldn't expect him to cut his holiday short just to get a promo shot.
