Adelaide offered North:

Pick 4 in 2021, plus Adelaide's picks 5 & 14 in 2022

for pick 1 in 2021

So points 5,073 for 3000

North have now lost pick 1 in 2021 & pick 1 in 2022

for Pick 2 & 3 in 2022 pick 40 & 43 in 2022 plus Ports 1st round pick for 2023.

So gained roughly 6,953 points (they would be hoping Port have a terrible season, I've said they will finish 8th or 9th) for 6,000 points



North have not only set themselves back 12 months, but they want to make sure picks 40 & 43 turn out to be decent players.

Your forgetting that north's second round pick (19) was to go back to Adelaide as part of last year's trade

Samsons AFL debut was one of the poorest footy decisions we’ve made as a club over the last 5 years. He was nowhere near ready to play and bought him in against a team with 2 gun rucks in Ryder and Marshall. He got injured first few minutes and struggled especially given his size. Completely different scenario now with a few preseasons and kg’s. Will develop into a solid AFL player for us from here

not to mention it also pissed down that day, hardly the prime conditions for a debutant stickman in the ruck.

How is it we are over a week into trade period and we havnt heard a single thing from any of the clubs representatives? Usually someone does a video on the website or something but it’s been crickets!

Even when Taranto got done, there was next to nothing besides greeners doing stat articles.

This hopper thing is just getting drawn out because GWS have been involved in every other trade going on but if it’s not done tomorrow then somethings surely going wrong.

Yeah I did hear that, we usually have Matt Clarke or Will Thurstfield etc from the recruiting team. Even Balmy has a few radio gigs he chimes in on recruiting stuff with but yeah absolutely nothing this year so far.

Now I’ve said this though no doubt they will do the rounds tomorrow to every station in town [emoji23]

Listened to the news tonight and it was reported that Soldo was still making up his mind about moving to GWS. Report ended by saying Hopper will be at Richmond regardless, as it will be done on picks alone if Ivan doesn’t agree to the move!
