both richmond and geelong have asked to have a midseason trade period prob during the split round.

plz vote and let ya thought about this be known.
if it does go thru each team can make only a maximum of 5 trades.

If your looking to make this game more long term, and want the coaches to stay with there teams at years end, then I wouldn't have a mid season draft.
You also want this to be like the real AFL....They certainly don't have a trade mid season. I'm voting against this one. We've already had how many?

During the offseason, we have had numerous coaching moves that have resulted in coaches being replaced by new ones. I don't think it's fair to hand over sides and not have an oppurtunity of some sort to do anything to it.

All this trade period is asking for is like that of the virtual footy competition in afl.com.au. They have a mid-season trade period as well. However it is quite different to end of season trades in that a club is only allowed a maximum of 5 changes to its list. I'm proposing we undertake a similar approach and allow just minor changes.

Not five transactions involving multiple players.

Yep. 5 changes means you can only add 5 new players to your club, whether that be through 1 transaction or 5 seperate transactions. And no, there will be no end of season draft picks traded. Only players.
