Guys like Polak, Petrie and Aker would be handy at Bomberland but as I have said before in like threads, we dont have a lot to offer. This is assuming we keep our high draft picks and our better under 22's.
P.S.D is the way to go with anybody eligble and anygood. Unless a club see's some value in our struggling middle range (age wise), not much to trade with.
Might pull a suprise and offload some average player for something half decent.Wouldnt totally suprise for Sheeds to trade a big one for a young gun though.

WTF is up with the Salopek trade talks.He has said it time and again that he wants to play his career out at Port.He is contracted till the end of 2007 and he loves playing for Port.He is not going anywhere.I wont even trade Sala for a #1 pick.

Salopek very overrated, Pearce is heaps better.

He was drafted from East Freo.

Like all uncontracted players (I'm pretty sure he's uncontracted), in our position we should be trying to push him into the PSD.

If he wants to come to Essendon that should be our first option.
My second option would be to try and package up something for Polak and Dunn, what I'm not sure but I'd think Bradley would almost have to be involved.

I'm not sold on whether Polak is a better player than Kep though. Might have to wait and see how Kep finishes the year.

Dunn will probably be delisted. Has done nothing.

yeah well id rather have polak who is rumoured to want to come to victoria to enhance his game, it was quoted in todays age. I think he would be beter for us then petrie, we could trade demspey for aker get polak in draft and gumbleton for number 1 draft pick. I hope we lose to brissy, why do we want to win honestly what do we achieve id rather hav the options to acquiring the best available talent rather then finish 15th and get only the second best talent, i want no excuses from dodora this time, wither he cuts themustard or he's out of there.

Would defiantely rather one of them over Gardiner in the PSD if it was possible, don't know their contract situations. I haven't watched a lot of Freo games to be honest so I can't really comment on Polak, he obvioulsy has potential but could be a loose wire, I'd still like us to stay away from those types.

I'd be very very surprised if PA let either Pearce or Salopek go. If they did the trade would be heavily in PA's favour.

Nope. They could drop a hint or two that they wouldn't want to go there, but it probably wouldn't do much good.
