No, he said that he has a desire to live back on the GC one day. There has been nothing to suggest he is disgruntled in Adelaide either, so I really wish people would STFU too.

All I am saying is if he goes next year for sweet fa I will be more pissed off than what I would be if he left this year.

It is a baseless media rumour started by Caro, hardly someone you can trust. And the club said just last week the clause isn't there, which should have put the issue to bed.

Also, how on earth are Port going to get Ebert by only having to give up Cornes and Brogan (who are both retired for goodness sakes)? Hutchy is saying Josh Hill to WC, Ebert to Port, Brogan and Cornes to GWS and picks to the Bulldogs. I can't see that being right, Port are getting an absolute steal if true.

Hutchy is in New York I think. Makes it very hard if you're not on the ground talking to people. Maybe he needs to decide whether he can still give the required effort to continue in journalism?

TWR has been pretty good IMO. Quayle and Gleeson at the age have been good also.

The Age predicted the Crouch deal perfectly. At the same time, the Advitiser were reporting that we were tossing up between Kennedy and Crouch.

The Advitiser said that we were after 4 componsation picks, we have none. They were also wrong on the Ebert to Geelong rumour.

On Craig Hutchinson, why is he always in America. Does he have a business there.

And she was right. I think we would of traded if the price was right.

Brisbane are trying to steal him, like they did 3 years ago when the were offering Charman as a trade.

If Polec or Redden were on offer I think you would find she was right....

I'm not expecting much more for the rest of the week...only Jenkins, Johnston, Polec and Pick 8 (prefer Redden though!)

I love Tippett, but if Brisbane gave us Pick 8 and Polec or Redden, I would take it. Our need for elite midfielders is higher than our need to keep Tippett.

The problem with Tippett this year was that our midfielders had no ability to get the ball inside 50 to our advantage. If we can get the midfield fixed, then Walker can be a 70 goal forward.

I just spoke to someone in the know and they said the Johnstone deal is done part of the armstrong.
As i said i inquired about this deal on monday and apparently crows were trying hard for him but sydney werent letting him go.
Dont know whats changed?????

Jenkins and Lynch is done.

We are still trying to get KPD - Ess asking too much for Hooker apprently and we dont have enough left to give them....
So possibly pick 24 + Armstrong for Johnstone + 2nd rounder? Seems too much...

I really rate the big fella as well. Goalkicking much improved imo, though i still hate how often he falls over in field play. Having said that he is a bona fide star in which to build a forward line around.

Given how high i rate Tippett is why i don't believe the Polec + 8 is insulting to Brisbane. If anything, I'm not sure I'd do it as Polec is no proven performer. Redden + 8 and I'd do it.

We have Rutten, Talia, Otten, Thompson, Sellar (at present)...i certainly wouldn't be giving much for average back-ups.

The way it is looking at the moment, we will end the week With Tom Lynch (#13 2008), Lewis Johnson (Syd #12 2008) Luke Brown (Norwood #15-#40 in 2011), Brad Crouch (North Ballarat #4 2011, #5 2012) and something with Pick 24 (Ebert? #13 2007).

You never know we may get Polec or Redden as well.

Seems like a pretty good week to Me.

Ross has given him no opportunity
plays backline in the VFL then forward in AFL
Has asked to go to Adelaide (dont know why, but always a good thing if the player requests the trade)
has shown a lot of promise this year when finally played
and he is a beautiful kick

so yes fml, this is a tambling trade again, except were the ones that got tambling

Jenkins for a packet of chips i think. He is a rookie for Ess 4th in line.

Im still a little shock they we have been able to get Johnstone, given sydney were adamant 'no' on monday, and he signed a new deal recently
