At the end of the day I would have liked a Polak or Perry but with a couple hours left it looks like its not going to happen.

Im not too angry about this. With pick 8 and our 2nd round we should be able to get two good players to add to our crop.

me thinks the pies win out big time.
they offload a player that has continuosuly provided them with head aches, the get no 8 pick, we get no 13 and a player that has continuosuly provided them(Freo) with headaches and they gain someone elses(Pies) headache.

For what? first round drat picks. ANsd then they will pick up Freos headache, Medhurst with some pissy 3rd round pick.

The pies are then left with 8 and what is it? 12? 11, whatever, and they have 2 first round picks in a super draft after finishing inside the 8.
i.e how to rebulid your side without needing to hit rock bottom again.
That is some shrewd manouvering to me.

Didnt say the pies didnt get anything, what I meant if we get Polak andf Pick 13 for Pick 8 that is pretty sweet. Get a backman and still have a firts round pick. If it doesn't happen we get an earlier pick. Still pretty good.

p.s Bents that statement could be taken either way. Either the deals completed or its not going to be done.

i think the AFL need to redo the way they do things.
Trade week is a complete nothing week.
Like there are how many players being shopped around and what happens?
9 trades and for what? and from the 9, only 1 involved a trade of a player for a player.

In a whole week? LMAO, what an absolute crap keep the punters hanging on, type of BS.

Why not leave the whole thing unfold up until the draft? what the hell does it acheive to have 1 week as a limit?
