Is it too early to jump off Foley?
Well its too late for me anyway, since I've traded him for Liberatore..
My mids look pretty weak now though with: Swan, Murphy, Mitchell, Liberatore, Harris, Swallow, (Conca), (Bewick), (Atley).
Do I start Bewick or Swallow?
The upside to this however, is that I have 185k banked..

Hoping to make enough to upgrade to a premium mid or fwd to cover the Pie bye.

Trading out Pendles? Besides the fact he's a certain keeper, he's going to appreciate nicely.

What do people think of a sideways Atley trade to Libba? Just to generate some cash from Libbas sure to be massive price rise?

Oh Nathan Krakour why did I pick you...am going to upgrade to Enright but to do so I have to trade out Palmer or Foley for either Libba or Curnow. Considering I already have 2 Bulldog midds I'm leaning towards Curnow. Question marks over my other rookies in Savage and Pittard but it's not worth swapping them for better rookies and having a thorn in my backline.

Palmer is a tricky one.

As a Docker fan I think he has been ok and we need to give him more GT. He has been scoring well in limited time.

Enright is an absolute gun, I've had him the last 3 years, don't know why I didn't get him this year. Doh.

I'd be more inclined to get rid of Foley myself... I'm tossing up a similar option but with my structure I think I need to keep him there until one of my abundance of forward rookies peaks and I can upgrade him..

Ah ... fair enough then. I think there may be some egg on the faces of those who are trading out Goddard and getting Dawes into their side. Goddard has started slowly, but he and the Saints will get better. Great decision not to have him in your starting squad but horrendous if you're selling him.

I'm ecstatic about choosing Dawes in my starting squad, but I'm not convinced he can score hundreds every week, which is what you'll need if you're not planning on upgrading him.

Reckon Foley has a bit more upside with a lower break even. He is guaranteed a game and has shown he can score well in previous years. Palmers skills are often critized which makes me wonder if Harvey has doubts on his ability not to turn the ball over 10 times a game....tough one!

My problem is however, with Morton doing terribly, I can either downgrade to Tapscott who is a option for earning some cash, but he has a bye clash with Darling, and Goodes and with Petrie covering Cox. The only other option is to upgrade him to a chapman etc, however these guys will drop and also have bye issues. Chapman conflicts with franklin, SJ and Syvlia conflicts with those mentioned earlier, and Brent Harvey has a bye this week.

The differance with Harding is that his team was really poor and played 2 very poor teams in the first 2 games. Dawes looks like he can score consistently for the rest of the season for easily the best team in the comp. I dont think you necasarily have to have him from the start, why cant u pic him up before round 3 when his price goes up. IMO this is a great time to jump on.

Also have a worry in the backs with Evirett but there isn't anyone i can replace him for, maybe Adcock?

I've got a bit of a dilemma. I'm planning on doing a double trade to pick up a couple of cash cows, but I don't know which one.

My first trade will be Atley -> Libba/Curnow. At this stage I'm leaning toward Libba. Good choice? Who has the better job security?


Then I have a few options.

1. Gamble -> Tapscott. This leaves me with $105k

2. Gamble -> Prestia. This leaves me with $74k

3. Hurley -> Dawes. This leaves me with $29k

4. Duffield -> Enright. This leaves me with $27k


I'm leaning towards option 1 since it leaves me with the most cash, and Tapscott will increase the most after the price rise (?). But the other 3 have merit I think.
So, which would be the best option?

SIDEBAR: Yes I know picking Gamble and Hurley weren't the best choices to begin with but hey we all make mistakes.

Any help??
