Hey all,

just got back from watching the boys train (my first time :thumbsu:) and thought i'd attempt to do a report and then add the videos i took onto youtube later (VIDEOS ARE ON POST 89).

My observations:

- Juddy has the body of a god, the guy up close is massive! plenty of the boys had their tops off (ladies ;)) and Juddy just put them to shame haha

- ROK, Jamo, 206, Hammer, T-Bird, Chief, Waite, Murph, Johnson, Austin, Kreuzer were all in the recovery group

- Rohan Kerr went off the ground about 20 minutes and came out with ice strapped to his quaddy, didn't train after that

- Hendo and Eddie seem good mates and were joking around during the drills. Hendo was running his ar** off and looked to be doing well

- Joseph is deceptively big. For a guy who is only a year older than me, he scared the crap outta me when i got out of the car and turned around to look at his mean face with a black eye :D

- 1AW would start at the back of the running group and finish at the front every time, him and Juddy seem to like training together

- First time i had seen ROK in the flesh, and the guy is like a stockier Jordan Russel, was very vocal during training and was giving directions on the drills for the recovery group

- Didn't see Davies today, however the main group was on the other side of the ground and i couldn't really zoom far enough on my camera

But yes hopefully someone else can add to this report, it was my first time there so i did spend most of the time in awe of how big these bastards are haha

haha, i was the guy with the black cap on and the video camera out..right next to where the redevelopment started :)

nice photos btw, was gonna take some aswell...but saw a few people taking them and thought "someone will put it on BF or TC"

Ahhh. I was further down right in front of the recovery group. I walked the length of Visy to take photographs on the other side and as soon as I got there they moved back to the centre.

Great report btw. I'm putting mine together slowly. :thumbsu:

And I can't thank you enough for the watermark. :thumbsu:

I saw you Zee I was right next to you. I was the big guy using a little camera. I was wearing a Callaway baseball cap.

This was also my first time and and all I can say is I was very, very impressed. They all seem to get along really well. There was a lot of joking around in the recovery group, which was great to see.

I didn't focus on any individual but just watched the group as a whole. After they came out they initially broke up into 2 groups. The recovery group and the main group. As Zee has said it was hard to see the main group as they moved to the far side of the ground to do some sprint work.

Today's session was mainly focused on fittness and there was practically no kicking.

After the sprint work the main group broke up into 2 groups. One group moved in around the CHF part of the ground and did some sort of keepings off. While the second part of the main group ran 200's.

They ran about 6-8 200's before swapping over. I must admit I thought they would be stuffed but you'd think they just had a stroll in the park.

While this was happening the recovery group played a game of touch rugy in the centre square.

Jarrad Waite had no stapping on his knee and seemed to move OK. He didn't do much just ran half a lap and walked the other with hammer.

T-bird ran what seemed like 200 laps and damn is he fit. I caught up with him in the car park after training and asked how he was going and he told me it is the hardest Pre-season he has done.

Once all the running and keepings off were done the main group finsihed off with their own game of touch (Juddy gave who I thought was Browne a cracker of a cloths line) which was pretty competitive.

I have taken about 150 photos and once I work out how to do it I will put them on here.

BB25 I highly recomend you don't go to training as You will die of a swoon attack. Because as Zee said Judd & Co are ripped to the max.

There was one moment I have to tell you about. There was some sort of competition where who ever dropped the ball the had to get down on hands and knees and the reat of the group kicked footys at their arse from about 15 feet away.

Well anyway Chriss Johnson dropped the ball and after most of his group missed him The Chief nailed him dead set in the arse with a torp that was so loud that everyone turned to see whta happened. It was a classic.

Great reports from both of you

Good to see there having a bit of fun.

Was wondering how Carrots was going because you dont hear much about him and i think he needs to take another step this year.

I would have seen you too Zee. I was wearing a Yankee's hat. Nice meeting you Toady. :thumbsu:

I'll be there Thursday with a "friend" who also is a keen photographer. ;)

Were you the guy infront of me Toad? otherwise i've forgotten other faces by now haha

great report aswell mate, saw Johnson make a few skill errors and he just looked a class below Murph, who he partnered up with for a while.

Question: anyone know why Murph didn't do much today? and were was Davies?

He was in the distance shell, but in the touch rugby game he showed quicker hands then the rest. I was also impressed by Labi's work in the touch rugby.

Tuohy was average in that particular drill. Saw him kicking the ball to Labi though and he was hitting the target pretty easy.

And good spot MC, no Emu or Sauce to be seen. However a redheaded bloke kept getting in the way of my recording :(

There were two new young kids watching on. HBF can ID them.

I've been wondering, from reading the training reports so far this pre-season, if perhaps there is some sort of rotation in place with players joining the rehab group as a way of ensuring players aren't overdoing it during the pre-season.

The rehab group obviously contains those players who we know are returning from various surgery, but some of the players included seem to change from session to session & for all intents & purposes don't seem to have any obvious battle scars. I could be way off the mark, maybe someone who goes along to training can have a chat to one of the coaches & find out.

BTW, the training reports are greatly appreciated by all on this board.

Sauce was there. I've got a photo of him as he walked off. I'm uploading the photos now, so hopefully I will post them shortly.
