No Burton at all
Trent hentschell did the warm up as did Ven berlo then they had a kick and catch before Trent left after about a hour.Vanberlo did not do the competive work but did every think else.
Rhett Biglands trained for a hour before leaving the main group with a slight limp.
Ben Hudson and Jason Porpyzia did a extened warm up together but moved ok
Sarge,Hart,Bock,Welsh,Douglas did the whole session with the main group and moved ok,Hudson did the end to end stuff but same as VanBerlo no competive work.
23 players took part in a drill 12 on 11,12 players had yellow tops on and were defending and 11 players had crow jumpers on and were attacking. The ball started on the wing but very quickly the 12 yellow tops were all inside defensive 50 and the crow tops had to find targets with the end result being a shot on goal. This lasted 15 minutes.
Then they did end to end work moving the ball up and down Crow tops onto Yellow tops no tackling but plenty of pressure.Hudson did this and moved well without any hesitation. At one stage in the end to end work Skippy and Thomspon had white tops on and were always going with the team that had the ball not sure why the only thing i can think of is more work the defenders had to do as the team without the ball was always out numbered.
At the end they broke into several groups some having goal kicking the rucks and onballers doing cenre square work and a interesting little contest was Bock and Stevens doing marking pratice with Bock always the attacker and Stevo always the defender.
The whole training session was over seen by the little general Craigy who was barking instructions and always refering to his notes late in the session they used the helmets and players would have them on for a short time before passing them on to some one else.
