They had two separate groups running in the time trials but certainly quite a few were also not doing the trials.
Unfortunately was the other one (along with Darcy) that did the least at training.
However, it was the view of the training watchers that Amiss and Sturt are the two that have bulked up the most.
He looked in good shape and whilst he did not do a lot he didn’t have any apparent restriction or strapping.

Any news on who impressed bar Carr? Id love to know how Simpson went.

Sorry, that was the first training session with all squad members and as I said not all ran. I didn’t notice Simpson in the running, as in, not at the front of either group but it is also possible he didn’t run. He was training though.

Club seems to not weight time trials as heavily as in the past. Especially this early.

There was an article somewhere, Carr, Pearce and Frederick all won
one, said there were 3x 1km trials but didn’t say who was in each one.

Yeah, it's ****ing embarrassing. This is what happens when tools like spell checker are lazily used without learning the skill first. Genuinely terrified that AI use will cause a skills atrophy quicker than we realise (within 1 generation, it'll be markedly evident).

It doesn’t help that essay structure as taught in schools is so rigid and recursive. Say what you’re going to say, say it and then say what you said. It’s like cheap commercial telly, where one minute of information gets stretched over ads with recaps and teasers and recaps of the teasers.
Don’t even start me on spelling and other telltale signs of rank ignorance.
