Hey guys going to training today is there anything anyone wants me to check out?

Crotchin, Rance, Putt, Gourdis and Casserly would all be good to hear about, Richmond arent that bad, you have recruited allot of talls and KPP's and some of them look ok, now you need another ruckman to assist Pattison, and some on ballers!

Coughlan, Edwards, Connors and also look where they are putting Bowden as he is a bit lost atm.

Damn too late... well when you get back can you let us know if Cotchin is injury-free?

He is listed as "available" on the injury list.

Ok back from Tuesday training.

All in all it was a light session with the focus on team morale; this was highlighted by the boys simulating a match between the Victorian and Interstate players with some overzealous celebrations after each goal, none more over the top than huge Richo bolting around the boundary with his arms in the air followed by a screaming Jack Riewoldt. They broke into their respective lines and practiced their skills for a short time. The forwards ran some inside 50 drills but not enough to have an impact.
The session was run by Jade Rawlings with Terry Wallace not making an appearance on the track.

On individual players , I was impressed with Nathan Foley who trained with high intensity and was always looking to work on his skills while a few of the others would break for a rest.

Also it was good to see Cleve Hughes spend a long time taking set shots from 45 out.

Deledio trained well with the halfback line and ran drills kicking to leading players.

Andrew Raines gingerly ran a few laps then ran through a few handball drills with Dale Weightman.

Interestingly Joel Bowden was working with the midfield group in a defensive role and played no part with the back line unit.

Cotchin did a bit of light skills work with a few of the injured players at the other end of the ground so I couldn’t really see how he was going, but he was moving okay, I wouldn’t expect to see him playing for Coburg this week though.

Couldn’t see Coughlan out there, he may have been with the injured players up the other end.

Danny Meyer had a light run but no real signs of a comeback anytime soon.

Angus Graham looked okay but his running was a little restricted, he ran through some rucking drills with Symmonds, Pattison and Putt.

The session appeared light and jokey so it was hard to get a feel for any change in game plan, though I didn’t see a lot of handballing.

thx for the report, who knows this is probably the norm, might explain a few things

Yeah from my impression there was a lot of standing around from a number of players, when there could have been some intense work on there flaws.

No Terry Wallace hey........... says it all really. We have a peanut like Jade Rawlings running the show after a humiliating defeat. Mick Malthouse would have been there with steam coming out of his ears if it was collingwood.

I give up. This club is a joke.

Couldn't agree more. There was nothing from Rawlings but whistle blowing.

TW would proberally be there at a latter sesion, in the week. An d the dressing down would have occured yesterday sometime.

To hear that some of the guys were standing around between drills not working on some aspect of their game is abit disappointing.

A lack of intensity on the track doesn't bode well for onfield performances.

Not good enough khan. I don't care about later in the week or the dressing down yesterday. THE SENIOR COACH SHOULD BE THERE FOR THESE SESSIONS.

I don't rate Rawlings one iota and we have this noob running the show after such a rotten performance, 2 weeks in a row. OMG this club is beyond belief. The lack of professionalism just astounds me.

Have to ask yourself what day it is today and you'll work out why Terry wasn't there.;) The sooner he stops that crap and focuses on whats wrong with the team the better.

Wallace is a joke. My local cricket coach knows more about the necessities and basics of coaching than him. Relaxed and joyful? Last time i checked we were humiliated on the weekend, you would expect wallace would be out there with the wip.
I just cant believe the lack of intensity at the club, its bewildering an AFL club can be so lethargic. As some of you have said your performances on the field represent your performances on the track. No wonder we're going nowhere. Bowden playing in midfield, what the hell is going on? and id like to know where Coughlan is at, seems the club is turning a blind eye on that one.

My mail is that he's just finalised a submission to the AFL on how to make grass grow at punt road oval. It's set to revolutionise the entire instant turf industry.

Terry Wallace.....solver of world peace....no idea regarding the RFC.

I dislike Wallace as much as the next guy, but would the relaxed session have anything to do with the fact that we have to fly up to Freo this week?
