Travis Johnstone?

Im not a poster who usually posts rumours but ive heard a huge whisper about Travis Johnstone coming to the dons. Apparantly Rama who is a mate of Travis has been in his ear to come to essendon for a year or two. Considering all this extra cap room we have and the fact sheeds wants to boslter the midfield we could do worse than to have a crack at Johnstone.

Injuries a big concern but he'd solve a lot of problems if we could get him up and running. Gun, plays well in big games too.

Remember we are still paying out Mark Mercuri's contract and that Adam McPhee resigned during the season......so we may not have the room in the cap everyone suggests.

That being said, Travis would be a very welcome inclusion to our midfield.

At his best Trav could be one of the best midfielders in the comp. I think he is a player that needs a change. If we can keep Bruce and Thompson i think we will trade him. I reckon Trav would fit in beatiful to the Ess midfield

I guess we Dons are lucky this year, as we have a lot of room in our salary cap to shop around and see what we can get for ourselves.

If we go after TJ...it would have to be a quality trade..as in a decent player for a decent player..so we might be behind the 8-ball in that aspect.

T. Johnstone is overrated and wouldn't be worth it. I don't 'rate' (for want of a better term) him at all.

Sheedy wants to buslter up ythe midfield so it suggested in the paper we should trade for crawford. Personally we should use mark Johnson and sumthing esle (Henneman ) for travis johnstone. And maybe shop around bolton to port for salopek.
