Can ruck too. I'm quite impressed by what I saw, and it's great to see a ruckman playing for us who isn't a complete log.

I watched the game wondering why it had been Blake in the AFL side this year and not West. Looked pretty good.

Because Blake is a freakin gun in the ruck, just not so great around the ground. But when you look at the player at the club which he would be trying to be like, you can understand why he is a bit lost on the field.

He's looked alright these last two weeks.

Still a long way to go though; his earlier performances will testify to that.

There seems to be a push to find ruckmen that can run around like cox and everitt but the facts are that they are v.hard to find. I would be happy if Blake turns out in the same mold as Matthew Clarke ie can become a premier tap ruckman and give us 1st use while also being able to drop into the hold down back or drift forward for a goal on the odd occassion.

Considering at the start of the year it was said he couldn't kick or mark, he has looked ok to me. Mind you I didn't see any earlier games.
