people, when will you get over rnb and gangsta music and start supporting local talent?!!! Listen to triple J and you will here some quality music. many bands/singers on it are good enough to make it to the charts, but are being destroyed by 13 year old girls obsession with gangsta and songs about shakin' yo booty. there are plenty decent oz hip hop groups around, so if ur gonna support rap, give it a go. also there are so many rock group on the J's its not funny. and some are really worthy of a chart place.

recently ive been happy with the top 20's because a good amount of australian music has been making it through, and alot less 'popular' type songs are getting through. its going good for the austrlian music scene, and if people start supporting local talent, its just gonna get better and better.

i like "gangsta rap" and i listen to triple j as well!!

some people cant comprehend that people can like more than one style of music

aussie hip hop is beginning to flourish at the moment

dj peril - its about to blow
weapon x and ken hell - sneakerpimpn ain't easy
figgkidd - fairytail master

are all getting heavy rotation on club v, and the herd, butterfingers, downsyde are regulars on triple j!

I like it when people who know nothing about the ozhiphop scene talka bout it.

Most local talent should stay local imo.

The ones who r good enough to make somewhat of a career out of it do so regardless of wether people listen to JJJ or support local talent.

The question is "why do aussie kids prefer the tones of hip hop"
Answer "Because locally produced talent is majorly pathetic"
