It's a nice threat, let's hope we're certain about it, because Richmond might terminate some contracts in order to steal him after the National Draft.

Either way, I think we're going to get this done Tuesday/Wednesday.
 
It would be absolutely brilliant to get it done early as I could start sleeping again. These negotiations are killing me!

Not really. Judd wants to get to the blues. The Tigers picking him up would be a mistake. If Judd had said I don't mind, or I will be happy where ever I end up, or some such thing then I could see Richmond mortgaging the farm, striping players salaries and firing a few blokes to get him in. But doing this to your team when he doesn't even want to be there is football suicide.
 
It just stuck me that Judd was drafted at #3 and wore the #3 on his jumper, now if we get him with JK who was #4 and pick #3 he will need to wear the #4 + #3 on his jumper. #43 or #7. ;););)

Listen, we don't give a rats clacker whether he comes or not, there is no cok teasing going on here. Actually the chances of him getting to us are about 5%. The club your staff are trying to intimidate is West Coast NOT Richmond.

You see, your club actually has the capacity to close this deal now, you don't need anything else at all from anyone to get this deal over the line at anytime. The problem is, is that you are trying to be too cute with the deal. That is why I said that the deal is there for you to lose and if you keep going with your attempted rough house tactics you will lose it.

I like the way carlton are dealing with this. Its interesting to read that it looks like if he goes into the PSD our capability of paying judd 1m for the first 2 years will be out of richmonds reach. We are in a good position atm IMO.

A surprising tactic by the Blues and Judds management. I agree, they must be very confident of picking him up in the PSD. If the Weagles reject pick #3 and #20, then we'll take them AND Judd as well. The Weagles have little choice, because they can't trade with anyone else without Judds permission. We hold all the cards. :)
 
im comfortable with it because, as ive always maintained, Cartlon getting judd is a win, Carlton not getting judd, we still win (kruezer, cotchin & keep kennedy)
