Two main selection dilemmas

Skipper vs Sack - the Skipper (assuming fit)

I have one extra stat to add to Bucksbrigade numbers the goal assists stat
Blair 0.8 Fas 0.4.

As for these two Blair by a fair margin really - has already experienced a full finals campaign including the invaluable experience of 2 GFs - priceless. Blair is number three on our tackling list - no way will he make way - we are a pressure, pressure outfit - why take out one of our most manic exponents of that?

Blair offers 3 dimensions to his forward work - finishing, sharing and pressure.

I would describe Blair as a real "digger", foot soldier type - Fas as more aristocratic, class finisher.

For me it was between Dids and Fas - they are both classy, elusive types with a nose for goal. I think Dids form is very close - just needs to find his usual touch.

So unless we have an unforeseen injury/suspension Fas will be an emergency.

Sub while Daisy is out.

I cannot back this up with any stats but my perception of Blair lately has been that he is not willing to give it to a player in better goal kicking position. He tends to go for it himself and more ofthen than not misses.

Blair is a certainty because of his pressure.

If Maxy was genuinely fit he would come in at the expense of Goldy, but his fitness (or lack thereof) is going to be the issue.

Fas would seem a good sub to me. Very dangerous!

His last 5 games he's kicked 5.4 and had 7 assists. They're not great numbers, but then they're not suggesting he's taking shots on goal and wasting them either, plus he's dishing them off as much as he's taking shots on goal. It's a bit hard to judge him though because against the Saints he probably had his worst game of the year, while the week before might have been his best.

I've noticed he has been less clinical in front of goals lately but i'd say he was in good positions to take the shots. I havn't noticed him be selfish but I could be mistaken.

Cam Wood will play against Geelong this week.
I think he's shown enough in the VFL and when he's played AFL this year, plus we need him fit just in case we lose a tall.
