Collingwood will keep dealing with Pickers. He helped us to get Aisho over the line.

Players like him because he is tenacious in representing their interests. His player list shows their regard for him (albeit Pendles and Buddy have switched, for different reasons).

For their 2 to 6% of salary, and 10-20% of endorsements, agents have to deal with everything from a contract to a 3am drug-fuelled rampage.

Indeed. Pickering is terrible when you have a player he reps leaving, but great when you have one nominating you.

The guy is a complete snake in the grass. One of my friends used to be a carpet salesperson and when ever he put samples out to help sell his product, Pickers at the time an opposing carpet rep would remove them. not only has he burned his partner he also reduced the choice of those people making a big decision on buying a carpet. Hope slime ball has the karma coming to him he deserves.

I guess it's human nature to distrust agents or consultants, who appear to live off other people's skills/ knowledge/ideas without contributing to the big picture themselves.
Some call them necessary parasites.
Takes a certain type of personality to do this.
Not everyone can sell a dodgy 2nd hand car to a little old lady.

Given that it's pretty easy to fit $20k in an envelope, I don't think $90k is going to fill out enough to make a mattress, even if you used $5 notes.
