Goldsack would improve very much if someone actually left him in the team.

I'd prefer him over Maxwell and I see them as very similar players. Although Maxwell is reputed to be a fantastic captain though obviously so it's difficult!

I read this a lot on these forums.
Maxwell is a better player than Goldsack although Goldsack exhibits some of the attributes which made Maxwell standout as Captain material though never to the extent Maxwell exhibited them as a very young player.

It's probably me. I post quite a bit because i htink he's a very good player. He just needs more stability. Currently he's in and out before he can build up some proper momentum.

I think Crawford was spot on about Maxwell this year in his article today. He'll have to perform well. I'm not calling for his head obviously but you'd think he'd have to lift a bit.

Nick's pre-season inury ruined him almost all year, but when it came finals he was on, you got to love that about him.

For whatever reason, always been a fan of Goldy.

I always feel better when he's in the team, but the odd thing is that he doesn't really have a position! I guess that's what the utility tag is for.

Think he adds huge versatility to our team, can play back or forward, love his intensity and tackling pressure which is crucial to how we go.

Occasionally disposal let's him down I suppose but he's pretty reliable and has zone breaking potential with his running and torps.

He appears set for a breakout year and I for one, would love to see that.

He will see plenty of games this year and he is best 22 for mine.

I think he does most things good to very good as a running/supporting defender

His kicking depth is great and useful too..

I really hope he stays in the team for the rest of the season..

I've also been a fan of Goldsack since he started. Not sure why...but, he just seemed like a reasonable player that just needed more of a chance to show us what he has got.

Think he has a great opportunity to cement a spot this year, so I hope he takes it.

Not sure what position he is best suited to, but a role on the wing sounds appealing.

Yep he is a pretty shit forward according to big footy folk.
Glad Bucks gave him a go, still lacks a little polish but makes up for it through endeavor.
