Its round 4 and you blokes are already talking about who is going to win the flag.

Watch out for teams like westbourne, geelong, old xavs throughout the home and away fixture because you need the points on the ladder before you go anywhere.

As for westourne, I know that they have only 4 points on the board atm but they have such a strong side this year they are defiently going to be up thier. They have bought in alot of players from the WRFL and actually gooood players not c grade players. A super strong midfield that no team I believe will be able to match.

Geelong are also a super strong team this year, I cant see too many sides beating them.

Old xavs likewise. Still some improving needed after seeing them play over the last few rounds

cheers

all im gunna say is that i saw old westbourne against ivanhoe and ivanhoe where dismal

if they didnt have big ol cheese burger eddy in the goal square they'd have some wat of a foward line

westbourne will b big movers and shakers on this competition this year once they actually train on a field instead of indoors.
ya cant b mistaken or mis lead with the line up ow have this year

IM COMING TO GET YOU!!!!!

there seems to be alot of chirp around OW atm, what about the other new comers La trobe? any opinions on their standings this year?

I think Westbourne were very lucky to win that game, ivanhoe just didnt look at there best but I could see a Westbourne/Xavier GF if ivanhoe dont pull there fingerout!

Thier the same as last year Ivanhoe= shit and they get on the piss night before

Anyone got some opinions on the last round??
I think OGS are the ones to beat this season... Ivanhoe Im not sure where they are at as they didnt smash Rupo as many would of thought..... Xavs where sh*t last week only beating Fitzroy by 5 1/2 goals....still think theres really only 4 maybe 5 winning chances this year though

Top 5 (not in order of where I think they will finish)
OGS
Therry
Ivanhoe
Xavs
Westbourne

After watching the emmaus and OG game on saturday, id have to say they are physically and mentally soft. never seen such a weak bunch of soft coks try and get a kick. honest.

I defienlty agree with you about old geelong, but its a pretty tight top 4 I believe,

DOes anyone know how the bye works?? Does the team on the bye get the 4 points??

Interesting that Ivanhoe is included in the top four banter. Saw them last week against Rupo, and unless there was a number of players missing, I didn't think that they were top four material. Agree with Therry, Ogs & Xavas & Westbourne though. Time will tell I guess.

i just see them improving alot during the season... there is still 14 rounds or so to go... and people thought they where dead with 10 min to go in the prelim last year and they got up.... even there timekeeper was conceding defeat that day

i cant see la trobe fitzroy and rupo doing anything unless rupo or fitzroys 1st teams couldnt make finals... st leos you never know what they could do.... wish NOBS hadnt pulled out and bernards had fielded a side... would of made for a much better comp this year

Anyone got some opinions on the last round??

or

tips for this week???

lets see if I can do better than last time

Tips:
Xavs v OGS - Match of the Round... game is a Xavs home game yet at Como Park... xavs do train there and did win at this ground in a LONG game last year... OGS seem to be able to win everything at the moment and will be wanting to win as many games before the Uni holidays as most of them go home... will be very tight and im going for OGS by less than 10 points
St Leos v Therry - Therry seem to be one of the teams to beat this year and are proving they are a good side... they will want to be switched on for this game and sometimes the bye can have a bad effect on a winning team... still i say Therry by 30
Westbourne v Fitzroy - Fitzroy played a much better second half last week with some help from the men in white.... westbourne seem to be a very good side after smashing Ivanhoe and La trobe in the last 2 weeks... i expect this too be an easy task for them... Westbourne by 50
La Trobe v Ivanhoe - If Ivanhoe want to play finals they have to win these games and i expect them to do so this week and with La trobe been smashed last week im seeing the same again this week and with this been a night match i do think the Ivanhoe boys would of recovered from there normal big friday night... Ivanhoe by 60

Here are my tips boys:

Xavs v OGS - Xavs have not been at their best of late, but boys I reckon they will bounce back this week and cause an upset. Xavs by 5 points.

St Leos v Therry - Therry have looked good all season and will be too much for ESL, should account for them easily. Therry by 60 points.

Westbourne v Fitzroy - My boys. We're playing some good footy and should beat Fitzroy at home. The windy conditions will keep the margin down I would think. OW by 35 points.

La Trobe v Ivanhoe - Will be an even game. Saw LaTrobe last week, they lack matchwinners whereas Ivanhoe have one or two. From what I have been reading they are down on where they should be, so I'm tipping the Hoes to get some form back. Hoes by 51points

St. Leos easily accounting for Therry but went off the boil in the last quarter. Leo's seem like a very decent team this year....

Yes it does seem that Leos could be a top four chance. With the bye this week it will put them to 4-2 and see them firmly in the top four. Although OG still look the goods, Leos is definately one to watch.

Xavier v Scum should be an interesting match re-match of last years perlim

Scum is about right...worst bunch of blokes in the league by far. rumours of the hoer's goal umpire threatening the OX's team manager- would be great to hear from an old xavs man for a bit of an insight...
