Unbelievably rapt in the performance of our guys tonight, there was some real passion for the jumper again!! Sam Lonergan take a bow you were sensational. Myers showed how good a midfielder he will be, Mcphee sensational. Just a question for you guys, where should we be playing Ryder? Would love to see him play CHF. good effort 2nite. adelaide missed a few shot which prob kept us in it in abit. but we also had our chances in the last quarter. and the 4 most bagged bagged players on here all stood up.
mcphee was very good. so wat happens when lucas comes back in it releases mcphee. monfries was also good. was always at the bottom of the packs and touched up AA mcleod. Stantan had another good one agianst adelaide. always seems 2 play well against them

slattery was good 2. went on 2 bird man, thought he did very well in the 1 on 1"s in the last quarter.

Considering how bad we have been in the last month or so, and especially interstate, I was thinking another Sydney performance. They should fight and were hard at the ball tonight. Could have won it, but great performance against a side who are tipped to be top 4 on their turf!

Great effort. Its good to see our middle aged players step up. We played great but I think we were lucky that we got so close. The Crows nearly lost it. They butchered so many chances.

We were very good in the last 10 minutes considering that we have a young team. We nearly had it. If we put this sort of effort in against Hawthorn the result may not be so bad...

If Scotty Lucas had held that mark for 1 millionth of a second more it could have changed the game.
Adelaide's accuracy was atrocious but lucks a fortune and it would'nt be the first time.
I thought Monfries was pretty good for you, negated his man for the most part and played a pretty attacking game himself.


Lloyd has to be a big worry. I won't say anymore than that.

Dont talk about decisions. I thought Adelaide were quite stiff with alot of decisions tonight, not to mention their kicking accuracy. They could have smashed us tonight if things went their way.

Ummmmm, did I see Myers snap a goal from 50 when no one else could even kick a drop punt that far? (also after he got the centre clearence)

The umpiring was so woeful tonight (for both sides)... 50 metre pentalties where a joke and I don't know about anyone else but I'm pretty sure if you spin someone in a 360 degree tackle and they blatantly drop the ball, that's holding the ball...

Great effort and it was pleasing to see the ypunger players making a contribution.

Stronger bodies won the game in the end. Burton, Thompson and Goodwin all stepped up in the 3rd qrt.

The pressure, tacking and intensity was pretty good. Pretty concerned about Welsh who got destroyed by Burton in the 1st half and was quiet in the second half when moved off him.

you must be reffering too the one in the centre of the ground (where lonegan tackled the crows bloke) in the last quarter

killed him hey. somthing wrong with u. burton is prob one of the inform forwards at the moment. he easily broke even with him.
i have been against him when he has played bad. but surely tonite he was well above average.

Yeah, Burton is an inform forward. But if Fletcher or Ryder went to him, they probably would have done a better job than Slattery.

I cant wait to see Burtons 3rd quarter satistics. We will jsut see how well Slattery did on him.

Yeah, Burtons first quarter was better than his third. But when did I say Welsh played well? You're just making up arguements now. And why would Slattery go on to Tippett? Thats just stupid. If Fletcher went to Burton, Obvouisly Ryder would go to Tippett. There is no need to make such stupid comments.
