The english language is actually turning to shit. We have a dictionary with 100,000 words in it, and some people would struggle to recall 1000 :o

I'll start with Tarry.

Suffix

Everyone know what "prefix" means, but few people use the word suffix any more.

If you really want to annoy ignorant people, use the word "niggardly".
