Seriously not that hard to simplify things guys, I'm sure everyone on here has a copy of word somewhere. This is probably a handy thing to have on this thread anyway so here's a quick 'simplifying tutorial':

1. Find a picture on Google images of the logo or image you are trying to simplify. In the case of Andonis here, you may be able to even find the exact sized image by specifying the size on the left pane
2. Paste the image into word
3. Right-click on the image and show picture toolbar (on 03)
4. Change colour scheme to black and white
or
Bump up contrast fully (works better for some images which have 2 light colours next to each other)
5. Paste this simplified image into paint. This may need some fixing or cleaning up manually, especially using the contrast method. Resizing can also be done here (less precisely) or by taking a printscreen on word

NOTE: This was created using the 03 version and some steps may be slightly different for 07 or 10

Seriously not that hard guys, please do it yourself from now on. Once you know what to do it's simple

Cool, thanks. I usually try the 'black and white', but it comes out with a grey outline. I'll try the contrast to full and see what happens...

Contrast works better for some images, it just needs a bit of cleaning up afterwards. For some reason there are random fluoro dots everywhere

Haha okay. The reason I asked was for the numbers, I'm thinking of putting the AFL logo on them... I wonder if that method would work with the logos in the photoshop numbers?? I am a strategist when simplifying

In PSP, if you resize the logo, then change the colour threshold, it gives you the type of logo suitable for numbers.

PSP is 'Paint Shop Pro'. I use version 7, which is ancient. Version 6 is now free.

Posted this in the Q&A thread but I may as well post it here as well. I've just started using Photoshop but gava's template only has Kooga, Reebok, XBlades and Puma templates. It also only has the designs used by those teams and not others eg. Essendon's sash. I've seen a few designers use these and I was wondering where I could find them. Thanks
