Unofficial Crows Logo

I was just browsing through the Crowsmania site, checking out the new gear. Found an interesting item labelled "First 18"

It doesn't have the new "fierce" crows logo on it however it has a different logo on it. To me strangely enough it looks BETTER than the official logo! Below is the image. Thoughts? Has anybody actually ever attempted to make a new crows logo themselves? I've seen one or two float around. I find it interesting. I myself prefer shield logos

The bird depicted on the shirt is the Piping Shrike, as found on the SA flag. Definitely appropriate, though hardly "aggressive".

Still, it's an infinite improvement on the raptor/hawk/unholy abomination that the club have foisted on us this year.

Yeah, I would have loved for the new Crows logo to have a Crows similar to the Piping Shrike which incorprated a shield. Kind of like Valencia FC's logo which is incorporates a bat into a shield logo.

altho' no white on it, it's meant to depict the Crow and can be found atop the AFC's official emblem used on our heritage guernseys and on the gold club champion blazer's. They just coloured it in all black rather than have a SA State image on a club based logo.

Perhaps the logo should have been the emblem on the club champion jackets or like on the 04 Heritage Guernsey.

Beats the hell out of the crappy blue thing that is our logo.

Saw that gear in the AFL shop at TTP lunch time on Monday and thought it looked cheap and horrible. They had some new gear in there with the new logo which looked pretty good tbh.

Well it did not take long just watched a NFL game and bloody baltimore have started using our logo.

I agree, its much better. We currently have two offical logos and an offical club emblem, not sure we need that many tbh.
