Given that we have traded for some high draft picks and that I have no idea about any of the up and coming draftees I am hopong that some of you my learnered friends would share your opinions on who we may draft

What I would like to know is the likely player to be drafted at pick 3, 13, 20, 22 and 54 as well as the approx height and weight, the postion that they are likely to play and maybe a slight overview?

Thanking you in advance.

Pick 3- Trent Cotchin- 183cm, 83kg- Onballer/HFF- Bottom aged player who will probably start up forward in his career and then move in to the middle. Explosive pace, great defensive pressure and great skills on both sides. Much like gary ablett jnr.
Pick 13-David Myers- 191cm 86kg- defender/midfielder (HBF)- Tall athletic defender who racks up the possessions with great skills. Will probably move in to the midfield in time. Like a taller jed adcock.
Pick 20- Scott Selwood- 184cm 83kg- HBF- More of a blunter weapon than joel but still very talented. Probably the selwood boy with the biggest potential for improvement. Loves to crash the packs but racks up the possessions (27 avg TAC). came top 10 in the draft for agility, beep test and 3km trial. Like Beau Waters
Pick 22- Adam Maric- 177cm 80kg- onballer/forward- Freakishly talented midfielder who can play forward well, kicking almost 150 goals from the midfield in U/16's. Could be groomed to play crumber or as midfielder.

Thats in a perfect world, but not sure if all those players will last to those picks. Also noticed theres no KPP stocks in those picks. I think with 20 or 22 we will draft Bellchambers, as we need that young developing ruckman, 3 ruckman at 1 club isnt enough.

Cotchin at three is highly likely if Richmond get Morton.

I think Selwood won't slip lower than 13, and if he's still there we'll take him then.

After that, really who can say- would like to see us nab a ruck development prospect with 20 though.

Realy cant see us picking up Gourdis with an early pick. Much more of a plyer who wont be ready for a number of years

We've already got a high drafted forward anyway in Kennedy. I really like the look of Gourdis though, as long as he can kick and puts in 100% every game. :thumbsu:
