I cannot believe what I've seen ....

In the Foreign Notes section, sub-section "US" there is a person selling US $1 notes bearing the portraits of the following people :-

Steve Irwin, Albert Einstein, Elvis Presley, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Lee, James Dean and Peter Brock.

And the seller is saying that these are legal tender !

Can this really be true ? have I missed something ? Or is the saying true, that there really is "one born every minute" ??????

Not sure if those particular bills are true.

But there are metallica ones in circulation that are legit.

That stuns me, talk about debasing a currency .... and I'll ignore that idiot Murray's comments. Although there's a fair chance his portrait could be coming up on some dunny rolls soon - that I'll buy !

Ha Ha Are you really sure you don't want to buy that bridge.
Classic stuff

E-bay is where all moden day conmen gather to peddle their dubious wares. I'd be very careful about buying most things on e-bay.

The whole things revolves around the vendor's ascertation that the notes are legal tender, and my disbelief in that claim. What this has to do with bridges and your inability to comprehend a simple query is another matter entirely.

You can get coins pressed in machines in the States (just like a vending machine), with all sorts of crap on them, and apparently they're legal tender. Only in America.

I knew a guy at Griffin Press in Adelaide who used to print hundred dollar notes and sell them for 20 bucks.
