Donald Trumps cheque to military personnel, came from cancelling a fund to help subsidise housing, for military personnel. He is giving back some of the money he took from them in the first place, and claiming its generosity. Show me your shocked face.
 
There seems to be some consensus emerging on a diagnosis of prefrontal dementia. It explains the gait, and it explains the stance. People with this condition also fill in gaps in their memory and knowledge base with on the spot fabrications, but, they dont know they are fabrications. This fits, as even liars tend not to be too willing to publicly lie, when they are aware their audience knows its a lie, but that only applies, if your aware the things you say are made up.

But it does mean the chickens will come home to roost at some point, for the people that then repeat and justify the lies, knowing full well they are lies.

The administration has been trying to get undertakings from US oil industry players to commit to getting back into the Venezuelan oil business. I dont know why a US president might want that, if someone can enlighten me.

But strangely, it appears no one wants any part of that shit show.

Well, the war planned against Mexico fell through because the lame excuse failed before it even started. The bombing of random small boats was done to switch gears towards Venezuela for all that lovely oil, but to get the lovely oil, you need oil companies, that have reportedly told them to **** off.

So, no war yet, but wait a while, they seem determined.

Maybe Canada?

I mean, Trump wants to start a trade war over potash, and the Canadians said, go ahead, see what happens. And if he does, and destroys American food security, that seems a semi plausible excuse, what say you?

Random bombings carried out by the US are nothing new, every president does it and they need to expend their stockpile of bombs somehow. I'd like to think any attempt to invade Canada would result in mutiny amongst the US armed forces.
