Had to laugh at the yank going off with his celebrations to the TV camera not realising he had been disqualified. Well done channell 7 cutting away just as they broke the news.
 
That was stupid. What is he, 6'5? No-one should be that much better than the very best in the world. It's like a bloke kicking 25 goals a week from CHF in the AFL.

On a side note did you see that Spearman guy carrying on after getting the bronze unbeknownst to him that he had been disqualified? How embarrassing.

Usain, Urquhart and Smith of the HB would be pretty handy.

The man who masterminded the Balco sports drug scandal in the US dobbed in Jamaca as the place where drug testing off season is minimal and the location of a big drug ring. Dick Pound head of wada then resigned and Fahey of nsw took over , the rumour is that this bit of intel was never checked out.

But in all seriousness, blokes like Ben Johnson, Linford Christie and the like have ruined this sport for ever. Anyone who runs fast now, rightly or wrongly, have a question mark over them.

Not that I want to detract from the discussion of NorthBhoy and Bolt double-teaming a Norwegian Centre-Back, but I liked the suggestion of a caller on SEN the other day.

As he gets to within 25 metres of the finish line, Usain should release a parachute from his back like a drag car. Would have made the final just that little bit sweeter!
 
For London the powers that be ("they") should stagger the race times for the mens 100, 200 and 400 so Insain can run in, and win, them all with his head on his chest and a leg in the air, smoking a pipe and saying "catch me if you can" to the rest of the field.

Scary thing is Bolt ran the first 100m of the 200m in 9.65s (ie, quicker than his 100m final). Then ran the next 100m in 9.65s also.
