Utopia Update

Me, i am about 820 acres, and am being hammered in a war against 19:15, had about 4000 peasants killed in 5 hours:S
They have moved onto another province in our kd now:S

Otherwise i am going with steady progress, hope to really start pushing on soon, getting up to 2500acres and a REALLY high networth by the end of the age, thats my aim.
 
in the middle of the wars now. but no one tries to invade me.
My DPA is over 50 so they may think twice before sending in troops.
Or if anyone has enough troops to try.
But chuggin along - just over the mystic 1300 acres barrier.
Last 2 times someone smacked me for 100 acres in combat each time.
 
I'm going ok, but am not growing very fast. Just converted to thief mage, not the best race or personality for it (human general:P) but am giving it a go for this age for a change.

Well, i've successfully converted into a pure attacker. All elites, 15% Barracks, 15% Forts, 8000 Horses (with more to come), etc. I'm still not attacking anyone, i'll keep exploring for a while longer, but i'm hoping to reach 1000acres soon, unless i get hit.

Our kingdom is growing nicely, though all our 1000+ provinces are in the low 1000's, which doesn't give us that one very powerful province to scare off potential attackers. But if all goes according to plan, we should have a few 2000 acre provinces soon.
 
I'm now 920+ acres and 140,000nw. Growing nicely, have lots of money, food and runes. I should hit 1000acres soon, and hopefully go on to greater things.

I finally found the secret to Utopia, DON'T p*ss people off. :D I just explore and only attack out of necessity. Retals are also a great way to start a meaningless war with an individual province, so i try to avoid them. Basically, don't p*ss people off until you are VERY big.
 
We're at war with province 21:5.
I'm the second largest in my island.
And we're trying to kill a dragon.
The other group must have found out I was the one killing it.
So they have spelled me into 300 burned acres and a lot of lost soldiers.
But still at 1400 acres plus and slowly growing.
Not much of an attack force left but defensive enough with over 13000 archers.
Hopefully this will hold.
I'm bigger than any one of the opponents and most of them have hunkered down to spell casting.

No matter what i did, if i was going well, or sucking, if i was an attacker, or a thief mage, i just wasn't having fun anymore, so am taking a break for the rest of this age, and maybe next age also, will wait and see.

Dwarf war hero, heavy attacker, 925 acres soon to be 1k+, 136,137nw, over 11k Elites, 75.9 apa , 72.1dpa.

Are you all on the WoL server? that kind of sucks since I'm on BF.

Anyway I was looking through the previous posts and no offense but you guys are talking small figures!
My KD is huge top 5 provinces are all waaay over 2k acres.
I saw you talking about dpa and there were figured under 80 mentioned I try and keep my dpa over 80 training 100% elites since dwarves are 6/6. This is my current build plan:

farms: 13%
armouries: 30%
barracks: 25%
banks: 10%
guilds: 5%
towers: 5%
stables: 5%
libaries: 7%

I'll soon be changing to:

farms : 10%
armouries: 30%
barracks: 25%
stables: 10%
banks 5%
guilds 10%
towers 10%

maybe not the best build plan for an attacker but it works. If any of you are on BF let me know.
 
Well I just made a 111 acre grab. Not huge but it's better than nothing. What are all your highest grabs?
 
186 acres. Unfortunately i lost triple that in retals. Their whole friggin kingdom went after me. Ahh well, at least i have something to brag about.

I am now 1050+ acres and 160,000nw. With 67acres to become available in the next 10hrs after a good hit. I think now I will stabilise and get my honor up, its sitting at 450 after being at 250 at one stage. Might just do some T/M ops, 1 tpa and 1wpa are surprisingly effective.

I'm a Human warrior.

I'm 1150acres and 170k nw. Still growing nicely and catching up to our monarch (he's 1500acres, stupid prick is the worst monarch around).
 
Well i have signed up again, think i am 47:49, or 49:47, and am called insane circles.
Am a Sage Dwarf Attacker, well will be hopefully. My kd is terribly unorganised but i am trying to get the in order, don't wanna be monarch howevere may end up the way things are going.
 
Our stupid 14 yr old Monarch decided he's bored and won't be playing anymore. I wouldn't mind normally, but the prick started hostilities with a strong kd and is now leaving (he was 1500acres). And another big province, 1400acres, has just suddenly stopped playing. Without notice he just became inactive. So we are basically 3000acres and 500,000nw weaker than our stats suggest.

i'm growing steadily, but if we lose another war I'm leaving. I want to play with competent people, not 14yr old ******ed teenagers who suck as monarchs, and attack outside war despite forbidding others from doing that and threatening to attack them if they do.

you have to have a silver service level to get in:(

Howd you get a silver service leveL/ or did u go there with a kd from world at the start of an age?
 
Neither. I started on bf and I didn't know you needed silver service level. It's probably a temp thing to deter people from joining while they are switching and upgrading the servers. Even though they said it was done there has still been a few problems. All I can say is keep trying.

Uhm I just went and checked it out and you don't need silver service level. I think that was from the when it very first started.

Next age i will. I've progressed too far to quit now. In fact, with our monarch leaving, i have been nominated to go for monarch. Considering this is my 1st age, what a rapid rise to power it has been :cool:

damn it, i tried it 5 days ago and it wouldn't let me cause i "didn't have silver service". I know last age it lasted all age

I was thinking of hitting a province 800 acres bigger than me, but it would mean i would be left with a 0dpa for about 16hrs. The reason i want to make this hit is because the province is the biggest in the kd we are waring, so if i hit him it will take close to 300acres off the guy (according to Angel).

I want some advice from you guys. Should i hit him? Or should i be a p*ssy and leave him for someone else (though no one can really break him).
 
i wouldn't advice suiciding, but if u really wanna u could TRY and use anonymity, i think there is a spell so they can work out who hit them, but they may not. That would mean they may not know it was u who hit them, just hit him and log off so they don't see who was on when it happened etc. Also have minor protection on and reflect magic if u really wanna hit him.
