Saw Cornell on his latest acoustic tour. An immense talent gone too soon.

First gig I took my now ex wife was Festival Hall, Melbourne 1997 (With You.Am.I). First time she saw/heard them and loved Soundgarden and Chris every since. She was devastated when I told here today. This is such an awful blow. I was listening to The Day I Tried to Live literally five minutes before I heard about the loss of Chris Cornell. I'm still reeling - he was truly one of the great voices of rock and he knew how to absolutely kill on stage.
I remember hearing them for the first time when Loud Love was aired on Rock Arena and I had to go track down the album from import record stores. I remember seeing them on their first Australian tour at Selinas and headlining the Big Day Out in 1994 and totally owning the place when they finished with Jesus Christ Post.
I'm sharing some photos photo vault - these are from 2012 at The Myer Music Bowl.
Remember the greatness.
