They, the Martin/Lewis movies, were a regular during school holidays. For some reason I always recall Pardners and That's My Boy.

Gawd, I was a huge fan when I was a kid. So much so, I made Dad take me to see Hardly Working at Lizbeff cinema. And loved it.

Artists & Models
was my favourite Martin/Lewis movie. BAT LADY!!!

Loved his last interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Copped a bit of flak for his monosyllabic answers. But they were probably more than the dopey interviewer deserved. Thought it was pretty funny, lol.

Dick Gregory passed away the other day, too. Another comedy legend. But maybe better known for his civil rights activism...

Like many children of the sixties I grew up on a diet of Jerry Lewis movies on TV.
