Bit late with this one but sad to see one of the great drivers, tacticians and technicians of Formula 1 pass away last week at the age of 70.

Niki Lauda was three time world champion in 1975, 1977 and 1984, winning titles with Ferrari and McLaren.

Lauda was nearly killed in a fiery crash at Germany's Nurburgring in 1976 while leading the championship. He returned to racing six weeks later at the Italian Grand Prix and missed out on the championship to James Hunt.
