Exact opposite of what my wife does. Won't touch chocolate icecream for some reason

Is it because you've eaten it all before she gets a chance?

Love Vanilla. Don't know why it's used as an insult to a player. :drunk:

Vanilla roasted? Hmm maybe.

I first heard it being used not long after Vanilla Coke came out and thought it was a way of saying shitty ripoff flavour...like you cant beat the original.

I love Vanilla Coke, but I don't really know anyone else who does.

I quite like the metaphor, to be honest. Just as good as 'scythe'.

Damn it, didn't think of Vanilla Coke.

The greatest* drink known to man.

*non-alcoholic

I thought the use of vanilla was in the context of being ordinary and nothing special.

i.e a player who has no redeeming skills or performs at an average standard.

I don't know what people are complaining about, that sums up our list perfectly

what does it actually mean when describing a player?

In that context it means very plain. No special skills or standout attributes. Nothing noticeable. B grade. etc etc.

Hence why it's always used in reference to our midfield.

I actually don't mind the term, when used in context.

It's just way over-used and used to describe things that it doesn't.

Yeah it is bland uninspiring most common flavour. What I said above was just what I thought the first time I heard it used to describe something.
