Actually thought the umpies were alright tonight BUT when the game was on the line they drove me f*****G crazy:
1. Worner busted for high tackle was BS - the tackle was good and the pie dragged the ball in when he was otherwise in the clear. Obvious free to Worner, equivalent to a two kick free to the pies.
2. Wombat holding the ball in a Darcy tackle?????? WTF - obvious ball up OR Darcy unlucky but pinged for a high tackle.
Anyway, vent done, back to enjoying a high quality, tough win against an experienced, well-coached side desperate for the W.

We were the comebacks kings last year and fox footy saying "they would have loss that 12 months ago"

Or better yet, not only did we come from behind plenty of times last year and as recent as last week, because it's Collingwood, Gary Lyon calls it "the pressure test".

I'm used to bias commentary, so doesn't bother me a whole lot, but "pressure test" simply because it's Collingwood? He did the same last year and we passed that "pressure test" already against that same team.

When I started the Vent Thread almost 15 years ago…..times were good.

Dean Margetts was umpiring, Chris Mayne forgot how to kick goals, Zac Clarke was going to dance festivals.

We could spend hours arguing if Clancee Pearce was just solidly built or a 5% GTFO candidate.

Draft wise …the first draft after this thread kicked off we drafted Josh Simpson, Tanner Smith, Max Duffy.

Now we’re winning games, our worst players on field are bloody hard to identify. No more asking how Ethan Hughes is getting a game. I mean today who was our worst player …..I mean I nearly got into a fist fight with my mum over whether Amiss deserved as many votes as he got.

I mean try and Vent about Murphy Reid …….ummmm clangers? Zero ….I didn’t like that he was talking to Harley Reid after the game (to be fair Harley may have been asking for an autograph).

Please think hard of some venting we can do, every little bit helps.

Not much in the way of a vent, but yeah I didn't like the optics of Murphy being even vaguely chatty with Harley. I may be projecting a bit, but it looked to me like Harley had more to say than Murphy could be bothered listening to.
