Not opposed to moving on Prestia and O'Meara at this stage

The fact we think that way just goes to show how long we've been without them
My 10 yo and 6yo never mention them
They actually can't remember them playing
Dion will be fantastic anywhere he plays
Jury is well and truly out on Jaeger

At my first ever Giants game Wow they are so strong across the ground. We are miles behind them ATM
Of course they were always going to be better then as, they had the advantage of watching our first year gave them time to target the right players + appointing an experienced coach.

Ps the extra 20+ 1st round draft picks help

The Stevie J show 4 goals in 40mins of football so far.
Half the Sydney crowd probably come to see Stevie.. Who do we have to bring the crowds in
Gws average crowd is much lower than ours. We are doing all we can do. Just need to win more games, tram or ferry all the way to the oval would help too.

Why did the club extend both Russell and Shaw for 2 further years at the end of 2014, and they've both been list clogging in the NEAFL since?
Leslie and Lemmens both picked inside top 27 in 2013 and eyebrows were raised with both at the time.
Speed and slick ball movement is the name of the game and we have 2 first rounders in Garlett/ Ah Chee in the stands with a NEAFL bye and Ryan Davis who is slow and can't hit a target from 20 playing?
I've been a massive defender of the club, Clayton and players for 5 years but there are some real concerns.

It's a bit like the poor older brother who has to blaze life trails, while the younger siblings waltz along the path he's cleared
In terms of the free agents,I have often said we got the best of what was on offer
Once player managers saw what was being offered and how Clubs basically couldn't do anything, they were lining up to go to GWS
Imagine if a player like Daniel Harris(love you Dan) put himself into free agency in this new age?
You have to have a CV that says AA to even get a look in these days really
(Unless you're GC Suns and you see something in Jarrad Grant that no-one else does)

So, my 10yo son who is a foundation member himself - still has the Suns hat Gaz signed for him at the Swans practice match at Sharks in 2010
Wants to barrack for Sydney
It's disappointing, but why not?
He loves Buddy
I made the decision after 40 years of supporting North to go with my local team The Suns based on the fact the boys would have a local team to follow and go to games, and it just seemed right
The 6yo is sticking fat.He loves Maysie
May be a canary in the coal-mine for The Suns in terms of those junior hearts and minds they need for the generational support culture

What a load of shit. Just because he's not at his best doesn't mean he sucks. Still a top 50 player at least.
Well the least we can say is, he along with 20 other players are not playing anywhere near there contract value

Hey guys and gals,

I just wanted to formally say goodbye to you all. I won't go into details about where my head is at, suffice to say that the Suns have lost me.

The timing is terrible, but last weekend was going to be a litmus test for me. Unfortunately, the club's true colours came through again.

This isn't a stab at any one of you however, we truly are a soulless plastic franchise. We've had half a decade, more, for a true sense of self to form, however it just hasn't come. What do we stand for? Actions speak so much louder than words and from the top down there is just not enough passion. What do we represent? What are our morals? I'd ask you to truly reflect on this. I have asked a few Suns fans and all they can come up with is corporate slogans. This has permeated through to the supporters which has led to a distinct sense of malaise around the club - internally and externally.

I've been through all the bad years and I honestly do not care if we lose - as long as we have a go. Sadly, we just don't care. No real football club allows what happened on Saturday night to happen. The Captain isn't a true leader (incredible player) and no one else cares. It just makes you want to shake them and tell them to wake up and give a shit. The ultimate slap in the face is watching your captain laugh and joke after the game with the opposition. I don't care if they're your best mates - people have travelled from miles away to watch you play. This type of thing happens far too often.

It's just my personal opinion of course and I genuinely hope that the Suns can develop a soul going forward and they begin to win and bring you joy.

I've put a lot of you offside over the journey, and for that I'm sorry. On the whole I've genuinely enjoyed conversing with you all around our shared passion.

Special mention to TheSunGod who's opinion I looked forward to and genuinely took on board, Matchu who's detail and sensibility always brings clarity, Sunny_ who's efforts and level-headedness was always appreciated and my co-host SUNS who I formed a genuine friendship with early days.

Anyway, this has turned a bit 'me, me, me' so I'll shut it down. I just wanted to say goodbye and wish you all the best going forward, as the Suns and this board has been a massive part of my life for the better part of the last decade.

Sorry to see you go. I remember you were particularly welcoming when I first started posting. Take care, we'll still be here if you change your mind.

Comments like the players don't care and a plastic franchise i find extremely inaccurate and almost offensive but in saying that things like what the club stands for aren't as important to me as it does to you as i'm pretty sure all clubs stand for the same thing. As for 5 years of losing, clubs like Melbourne, St Kilda and Western Bulldogs have gone through far longer periods of disappointment while clubs like Fremantle look like to be heading into a rebuild without a premiership from their last run. It's about sticking fat. There has certainly a lot of disappointment but there has also been a lot of success. The facts are we are 3-3, have the leading coleman medalist in our team and some of our greatest players coming back from injury soon. I really hope a post like this doesn't turn other people away because i'm proud to be a Suns supporter even though i don't know any others in real life and would like more not less. In my opinion if you went through the Bennell/Dixon drama from last year you're a fan for life. I just hope you don't come back when the team is winning premierships and making finals whenever that may be and i hope more people aren't turned away as we still try and find more fans.
