This is why fantasy footy has become a piece of **** and is bordering on a disgrace these days, you think year after year it can't get any worse but these AFL websites just find new and more pathetic ways of doing it.

Meh, doesn't phase me, I think that's why I like dream team better. Once the HUN gets hold of something its bound to turn it into dribble. Still you can bet your bottom dollar that the AFL website will release an article similar to that this year (if they havn't already?), if not next year. That is how the industry works AFL site copies HeraldSun and vice versa, as they are essentially competing against each other.

I agree it's annoying as it takes the fun out of it a little but this year will be very different to last year's super teams. Back to 2 bench spots will make it so much harder with the onset of injuries and non-selection.

1: GWS just had to have their stand alone game didn't they? The most important week for choosing rookies and we don't even know who's playing next week

2: Cox, Leuenberger, Jacobs, Goldstein and even Giles all having the same bye

3: Having **** all genuine premium backs available for that first bye, and placing them all in round 13. Scotland, Goddard, Deledio, Carrazzo, Suckling, Birchall all missing the same round. In round 11 the best we get to choose from are: Adcock, Butler, Waters, Hargrave of Lake.


In summary the AFL didn't do the draw with dream team in mind (nor should they, but it's frustrating).


Which brings me to another point:

4: Dream team updates during games. I want to watch the footy not look at DT numbers. If I want to know live dream team stats I'll like at the live updates on the site.

Disagree on most points hoping it makes teams a little more different. Choose which premium backs you want from the bye round and then the other ones you find. Means people pick different premiums from that bye round. Same theory on the rucks.

Also means people need to do own research on rookies a bit to find gems not all the good ones from round 1 teams are super obvious.

Also the live scores only scroll across the bottom of the screen at quarter time and main breaks, It's not like it scrolls while the game is on.

Shiel getting subbed off the only real disappointment. Wilson was quiet but he was a late minute pick to ensure everyone scored in round one. Wilson > Kennedy next week.

Will be back to vent if the MRP even looks at MacDonald.
