Already a few things to vent about..

Only worried about my forward rookies - Roberts and Gumby. But that's what trades are for

- Took out Stanton for Mitchell last minute.
- Took out Ladson for Hunt

On the flip side i free'd up enough cash to get Carazzo in and i have Peterson on the field.

I had Hille, but took advantage of the Tippet/Lobbe DP so that shouldn't hurt me considering Franklin to come off the bench and Peterson looks good enough to stay on the field.

Going from Hunt to Ladson a week or so back is frustrating me! But it is Melbourne they are playing, so I expect them both to average very similarily still. Watson getting the Ling tag. And having Gumby over Peterson.... But I am sure Gumby will only get better with matches under his belt, and again the Hawks are playing Melbourne. Still like the JS of Gumby over Peterson with the players Hawthorn have to come back. And Gumby is my 9th foward anyway, so not too much to worry about unless injuries hit big time.

Minor vent - Hodgey had been my Captain since DT opened (Hawks were playing Melbourne) and I switched to Bartel just before Lockout I thought my Bombers wouldn't go as well as they did! Stoopid decision...

i like reading this thread. People read so much into 1 round, theres gonna be a few people making trades just before round 3 on the basis of 2 games

I dont have either of Ladson or Hunt, but Hunt would surely have more job security than Ladson who might be omitted by round 4...

I was trade-happy early last year. Looking back, 3 quarters of my trades were wasted. Not going to happen this year!

They're both easily best 22 in their teams. Ladson's score this round was a bonus as I was expecting him to start slower than that.

Nothing much to rant about this round...all the midfield rookies have posted solid scores, all the captain options have posted good to excellent scores.

Can't even bitch about Gumbleton's 17 as he survived an entire AFL match
