Picked this up over the weekend with silverscope

Essentially a medieval Left 4 Dead.

Having heaps of fun with it, and for 29.99 on steam it’s well worth picking up.

This game has made more money in 2 weeks than the Vermintide 1 did in it's entirety.

Honestly it's such a great game and with it coming to console later in the year I daresay it'll be a hit on those systems too.

The combat is challenging without being unfair. The maps are visually beautiful, the map designs are good, the audio and crunch of metal on metal is great. I have some small gripes with this game but they aren't much.

I wish there was more detail in, well in everything! GIVE ME MORE NUMBERS! I want to know how much actual health I have, how much actual Crit Chance I have, how much XP I need to reach the next level. More detailed stats for the actual gameplay too.

Would also be good if they added in some armour to the loot as well. Currently there, per character, is Weapons (Melee and Ranged), Necklace, Charm and Trinket and I think right there is the room for improvement in terms of gear and what that gear can add.

Overall though this game is great. You can get home from work, smash some rats and ogres and then go to bed and don't have to worry about falling behind, it's easy to play with others who are different levels.

More of you need to play this game, it's seriously good.

You should be able to skip it and if not maybe try verifying the files through steam

Actually Sterge just download the update

We noticed an increase in certain crashes with 1.0.4.1 - specifically at the end of the Prologue. This version will fix that. We also found a crash which could occur when applying video settings (the settings were applied but the crash was clearly not intended). 1.0.4.2 fixes that as well. There are no additional changes.

Thanks for that, funnily enough tried the actual game in the end and it ran perfectly. They sent a reply to my support ticket at around 1am saying they had patched the prologue.

Played a few rounds with dwwaino highlight being everyone dying and him soloing about 8000 skaven to save the day.

My only main gripe is the lack of an ingame friends list, otherwise it's pretty good just need a decent sword on my witch hunter

If you're around this evening, I noticed you added me on steam, hit us up as Blacky and I are usually stomping some rats most nights. Get Discord if you haven't already too, It'd be nice to have a 4 man team going at some point too, instead of always having 2 randoms. Blacky dwwaino

Started witch hunter and got it to level 7 or 8, until Sterge decided he wanted to be one too so I switched to the elf which feels OP. What are you and blacky running? Because I’m about to jump on again and if you’re already using those two I’ll start levelling something else.

Found some friendly randos and some tools. One guy I joined was pretty cool and was farming the farm one and we just kept getting all grims and tomes and he would carry the group. Then we get some that just keep running ahead and then complain about a wipe even though they refused to check our 6.

Blacky and I started with two tanks (he was Dwarf and I was the Knight) but we've also levelled up Bounty Hunter and I've got a Pyromancer.

I find it quite easy to jump around to different characters so experiment as you go.

I’m pretty set with Bounty Hunter, but will look at unlocking a huntsman too
